Community Guidelines
Effective Date: September 22, 2026. StreamBean is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. By using StreamBean, you agree to follow these guidelines at all times.
StreamBean is built on a community of film and TV enthusiasts. Healthy debate about content is welcome — personal attacks are not. Disagreeing with someone's taste is fine; insulting them is not. Treat every user the way you'd want to be treated.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, threatening, or intimidating other users. This includes repeated unwanted contact, personal attacks, and targeted abuse. Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality is not allowed and will result in account suspension.
Always tag spoilers. StreamBean's spoiler protection keeps marked posts hidden until a reader chooses to reveal them. When posting about plot details, twists, or endings — even for older content — mark your post as containing spoilers. Reviewers should use the spoiler toggle for reviews that discuss major plot points. Repeated failure to tag spoilers may result in content removal.
Posting or sharing sexually explicit, graphic, or adult content of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes profile pictures, posts, messages, and any other user-generated content. Content that promotes violence, illegal activity, or harm to others is also prohibited. Violations will result in immediate account suspension and, where required, reporting to law enforcement.
Write your own content. Do not copy and paste reviews, posts, or comments from other sources and present them as your own. Plagiarized content will be removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension. You may quote brief excerpts from external sources with attribution, but the substance of your reviews and posts should be your own words and opinions.
Do not use StreamBean to spam other users, post unsolicited advertisements, or promote products and services without authorization. This includes repetitive posts, fake engagement, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and mass messaging.
StreamBean uses a combination of automated tools and human review to enforce these guidelines. Enforcement actions may include:
- Warnings — a first-time notice for minor violations
- Content removal — posts, reviews, or comments that violate guidelines are taken down
- Suspension — temporary loss of posting or social privileges for repeated violations
- Permanent ban — for severe or persistent violations, including harassment, hate speech, or prohibited content
Users can report any post, review, or profile using the Report button. Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team and actioned as needed.
You can also block any user you don't want to interact with. Blocked users cannot see your activity, send you messages, or interact with your posts.
To report a user or content, tap the ⋯ menu on any post or visit a user's profile and tap Report / Block.
If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you can appeal by emailing us at support@streambean.app with the subject line "Appeal." Please include your username and a brief description of the situation. We review every appeal and will respond as promptly as we can.
For urgent safety concerns, contact us at support@streambean.app.
