By accessing or using StreamBean, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use StreamBean.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a StreamBean account or use StreamBean's services. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.

Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use StreamBean. If we discover or receive notice that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete the account and all associated personal information in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and our Privacy Policy.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Certain features, including Bean Rewards giveaway entries, are restricted to adult members 18 and older.

StreamBean is currently available for use only within the United States. By using StreamBean, you represent that you are located in the United States. We do not offer, represent, or warrant that StreamBean is appropriate for use in other countries. If you are not located in the United States, you may not use StreamBean at this time.

To use StreamBean's features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@streambean.app
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

StreamBean is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

You may choose a unique username for your StreamBean profile. Usernames may not impersonate another person, include offensive language, or violate any third-party rights. StreamBean reserves the right to require you to change a username that violates these guidelines.

Your profile information is visible to other users based on your selected Privacy Settings. You can control profile and activity visibility through the Privacy Settings section of your account.

StreamBean offers a Premium subscription that removes advertisements and unlocks additional features, including the Subscription Optimizer, unlimited Watch Decider picks, and Bean Rewards.

Premium pricing: $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year, both with a 3-day free trial. All Premium subscriptions are billed through and managed by Apple's App Store or Google's Google Play Store — StreamBean never directly processes or stores your payment information. You can manage, change, or cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. The 3-day free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time through your Apple or Google account settings with no charge.

Subscription renewals are handled automatically by Apple or Google according to their respective billing terms. Refunds are governed by the App Store or Google Play refund policies. StreamBean does not have access to your store billing information and cannot issue refunds directly.

You agree to use StreamBean only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate other users
• Impersonate any person or entity, including StreamBean staff
• Post explicit, adult-only, or sexually suggestive content
• Share spam, unauthorized advertisements, phishing links, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or StreamBean systems
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce StreamBean content or data without permission
• Use StreamBean to distribute malware or conduct denial-of-service attacks
• Violate the intellectual property rights of StreamBean or any third party

StreamBean reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion.

StreamBean includes social features including a social activity feed, friend connections, reviews, comments, likes, direct messaging, and group watch parties. By using these features:

• You are responsible for all content you post, send, or share
• You may control visibility of your activity through Privacy Settings
• Direct messages are private between participants; do not share sensitive personal information via messaging
• Watch party features are for social viewing coordination and discussion only

StreamBean is not responsible for user-generated content posted by others, but we will take appropriate action on reported violations of these Terms.

You retain ownership of all content you create and post on StreamBean. By submitting content (including posts, reviews, comments, photos, and other media), you grant StreamBean a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content within the StreamBean app and services for the purpose of operating the platform.

This license is limited to operating StreamBean and does not allow us to sell your content to third parties or use it in advertising without your consent. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit.

The following content is strictly prohibited on StreamBean:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates violence, terrorism, or illegal activity
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Doxxing or publishing private information about another person without consent
• Coordinated inauthentic behavior, fake accounts, or manipulation campaigns

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where required, reporting to law enforcement.

StreamBean provides entertainment information including movie and TV show data, cast and crew information, ratings, reviews, and related content. This information is sourced from third-party databases, including but not limited to TMDB (The Movie Database) and OMDb (Open Movie Database). StreamBean does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any entertainment information displayed in the app.

Movie and TV metadata, posters, cast information, and ratings displayed in StreamBean are sourced from these providers and are subject to their respective licenses and terms of use.

StreamBean displays streaming availability information (which services offer which content) sourced from third-party APIs. Streaming availability changes frequently and may not be current. StreamBean does not guarantee that any content is available on any specific streaming service at any given time. Always verify availability directly with the streaming service before subscribing.

StreamBean integrates with third-party services including TMDB, OMDb, streaming availability providers, and others to deliver content information. StreamBean may include affiliate links to streaming services, which may earn us a commission at no cost to you.

Third-party streaming services (such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock, and others) are independent companies and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by StreamBean. Links to third-party sites and services are provided for convenience only. Third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. StreamBean is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services.

StreamBean provides personalized content recommendations based on your favorites, watchlist, and activity history. These recommendations are generated automatically and are for informational and entertainment purposes only. Recommendations may not always reflect your preferences, and StreamBean makes no guarantees about their accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

Some assistance features are powered by service providers. These features process your in-app activity and publicly available entertainment data to deliver recommendations, summaries, and other helpful content. Recommendation data is not sold or shared with advertisers.

StreamBean may display third-party advertisements or sponsored content within the free tier of the app. Ads are served by third-party ad networks subject to their own terms and privacy policies. StreamBean does not currently use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such.

StreamBean does not endorse any advertiser or sponsor. All transactions you enter into with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

StreamBean offers Bean Rewards, a premium loyalty program, and a Movie Night Giveaway. These programs are governed by their own terms: the Bean Rewards Terms and the Movie Night Official Rules, respectively, which are incorporated by reference. Beans are a promotional loyalty currency with no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Movie Night Giveaway is not sponsored by or affiliated with any movie theater, streaming service, Apple, or Google.

StreamBean may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior
• You are discovered to be under 13 years of age
• Required by applicable law

If your account is suspended for a violation, you may not create a new account without our express permission.

You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Upon deletion:

• Your profile, personal information, watchlist, favorites, activity history, posts, reviews, comments, messages, and watch party data will be permanently deleted
• Your friend and follower relationships will be removed
• Some previously shared content may remain in anonymized form in other users' records where technically necessary
• You will receive an email confirmation of your deletion request and completion

We retain only what is legally required for compliance, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

StreamBean and its logos, design, features, and original content are owned by StreamBean and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from StreamBean's intellectual property without express written permission.

Entertainment metadata (movie titles, posters, cast information) displayed in StreamBean is sourced from third-party providers including TMDB and OMDb and is subject to their respective licenses and terms.

StreamBean is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that StreamBean will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

StreamBean does not stream content directly. All streaming, renting, or purchasing of content is done through third-party services that StreamBean links to but does not control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StreamBean and its owners, operators, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use StreamBean, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or service interruptions, even if StreamBean has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

StreamBean's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to StreamBean in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StreamBean and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of StreamBean; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you post or transmit through StreamBean.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of StreamBean shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration or file a claim in the appropriate court located in the State of Texas, as provided below.

You and StreamBean agree that any dispute will be brought in an individual capacity (not as a class action) and that the parties waive the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Texas.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top and, where required, notify you via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of StreamBean after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using StreamBean and may delete your account.
